Xinergistix has a fully integrated fleet that operates from its various depots across South Africa and into neighbouring countries such as Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland.

Our head office and main depot is situated in Brackenfell, Cape Town with another depot based in Alberton, Gauteng, Durban and satellite branches in Piet Retief and Port Elizabeth. Plans are currently in progress to open the next two depots, one in Ugie, North-Eastern Cape and one in Bloemfontein, during 2008/9.

Services

Xinergistix specialises in providing long and short distance road freight transport and offers a national road transport network operating along all major routes within Southern Africa.

We have a large fleet of vehicles comprising of truck tractors with combinations of flatbed, taut liner, coil-carriers and trailers with container locks. We provide transport with appropriately sized and equipped vehicles and trailers to service the needs and requirements of our customers.

We view our business relationships as partnerships and have successful and close working relationships with all our customers.

Technical Division

The Company has a strong technical division in place with two on-site workshops based in Cape Town and Gauteng as well as countrywide support teams to ensure high-quality fleet maintenance and minimal down time.

Risk Management Division

24-hour Fleet Control

All vehicles are fitted with real-time satellite tracking and on-board cell phones. This technology enables a team of dedicated fleet controllers to monitoring all vehicles on a 24-hour, 7 days a week basis ensuring optimum productivity and minimum risk exposure.

Drive Report Call Centre

All vehicles are marked with a toll free number that the public can contact should there be any comments or concerns that they wish to report. These reports are monitored continuously to ensure drivers maintain a high standard of driving at all times while on the road. This number is 0860 555 999.

Company drivers

Strict selection criteria is applied when recruiting drivers. Based at each depot, a dedicated driver-trainer ensures all new drivers are put through an in-house driver training induction course. This helps to ensure that all drivers maintain a high standard of driving and policies, procedures and documentation are known and adhered to.

At Xinergistix we actively pursue and implement measures aimed at monitoring and assisting drivers to increase the awareness of personal and general safety while on the road. This includes training, wellbeing, facilities, working hours and incentive payment schemes.

HIV / AIDS

Xinergistix values its employees as an investment in human capital and realizes the possible impairment on the return on investment due to ill health. With due recognition of the realities and prevalence of HIV/AIDS, especially within the transport industry, we have taken it upon ourselves to provide education, voluntary access to clinics, and contraception to the drivers, who are considered to have the highest risk of possible exposure.
